Manage and share Chats
Find previous conversations, rename them, share them with colleagues, and understand view and edit access.
Manage and share Chats
The Chats sidebar groups conversations by when they were created. Select any row to reopen its transcript and outputs.
Name a conversation clearly#
Rename it using its title or the row actions in Work → Chat. A useful name describes the decision or scope, such as “Q3 Tesco promotion review,” rather than repeating the first question.
Clear names make prior work easier to find and reduce duplicate analysis across a team.
Share with a teammate#
Choose Share, then find a colleague by name or email and give them either:
- View access to read the transcript and open sources you have permission to access.
- Edit access to continue the conversation as well as read it.
The sharing panel lists everyone with access. Remove a collaborator there when they no longer need the conversation.
Sharing a Chat does not make it public and does not move it to another workspace. The recipient must be a Signal user with access to the same workspace.
Continue a shared Chat#
If you have edit access, send a new message normally. If the composer is unavailable, you have view access only; ask the owner to change your permission.
Collaborators can see the messages, live Task cards, and deliverables made in the shared conversation. Sharing does not grant access to unrelated private work. Permissions on referenced sources still apply: a colleague may see less supporting detail or be unable to open material they do not have permission to access.
Delete a Chat#
Choose Delete from the actions menu and confirm. Deleting permanently removes the messages for everyone it was shared with and cannot be undone. Deliverables it produced stay in Explore. If the reasoning should be retained by the team, share or rename it instead of deleting it.
