Share, publish, and export
Choose the audience before distributing work.
| Need | Action |
|---|---|
| Named teammates should read or continue the conversation | Share the chat in Work. |
| Named teammates should access a report | Share the report from its canvas. |
| The workspace should find a finished deliverable | Publish it to Explore. |
| Someone outside the workspace should read one report | Create an external report link. |
| You need a file for a meeting or archive | Export the report. |
Share with teammates#
Use Share on the chat or report and find a colleague in the same workspace. View access is read-only; edit access permits further work. Chat collaborators can open deliverables made in the conversation. Remove access from the sharing panel when it is no longer needed.
Publish and unpublish#
Choose Publish on a finished deliverable and confirm the workspace audience in Publish to Explore?. Everyone in the workspace can then find it in Work → Explore. The conversation remains private unless shared separately.
Use Published only, with Mine only off, to find colleagues' published outputs. To withdraw workspace discovery, open the report's Published menu and choose Remove from Explore. This happens immediately; it does not revoke named collaborators or external links.
Send a report outside Signal#
Open the report's Share action and choose Someone outside Signal when available. Enter recipient emails, review the approved company domains and expiry, and send the invitation. Copy a link instead lets you send the link yourself.
Domain-restricted links require an allowed email domain. Anyone with the link permits access without a Signal account and requires workspace policy to allow public sharing. External links expose one read-only report version, not the conversation or workspace.
Use Manage links to turn off a link or all links for the selected version. Verify the version and access rules before sending.
Export#
Open the report's Export menu. Formats depend on the result and can include HTML, PNG, PDF, report data, Excel, and PowerPoint for slide presentations. Slides can also offer individual images or a ZIP of all slides.
Use the version menu to select the result you intend to distribute. Choose the report theme from the canvas actions before exporting. Review sources, charts, pagination, and confidential content. An exported file cannot be recalled by unpublishing or revoking a link.
