Navigate Signal

Find Feed, Work, Calendar, Data, Knowledge, dashboards, workspaces, and personal settings.

Navigate Signal

The main navigation contains Feed, Work, Calendar, and Data. Dashboards appears when enabled for your workspace. On smaller screens, open the navigation menu to reach these areas.

Choose the right area#

Area What it is for
Feed Catch up on commercial insights and linked reports.
Work Ask questions in Chat, follow Tasks, and browse deliverables in Explore.
Dashboards, when enabled Open the workspace's dashboard views.
Calendar Record commercial dates and receive reminders.
Data Manage sources, received files, import rules, Entity Hub, warehouse tables, and Knowledge.

The Signal mark returns to Feed. Knowledge is under Data. Older Chat and Task links redirect into Work.

Use Feed to catch up#

Read an insight and open its linked report to check the evidence. Follow a suggested action when you want to explore the finding further. A briefing can take time to appear after report publication; a missing or failed briefing does not establish that the underlying analysis failed.

If Feed is empty, check the workspace and available work before commissioning duplicate analysis.

Find work again#

Open Work. The sidebar switches between Chat and Explore. Search chats to recover a conversation, or search deliverables in Explore. Use type and tag filters to narrow the library. Mine only starts enabled; turn it off to find others' published work.

A report opens alongside its conversation so its brief and follow-ups stay available.

Switch workspace#

Choose the workspace name near your account menu and select the workspace you need. Check it before uploading files or starting sensitive work. Workspaces have separate people, data, Knowledge, and outputs.

Notifications and settings#

The bell opens your notification inbox. Select an item to open its subject, or mark notifications read. Delivery channels and personal event preferences live under Profile → Notifications.

Open your avatar menu for Profile, the Welcome guide, Admin when you have workspace administrator permission, and Sign out.

Profile contains your role and focus, notifications, learned skills, recurring Tasks, and machine credentials. Admin contains organisation context, report branding, users, and workspace notification destinations. Ask a workspace administrator for changes that affect everyone.
